October 2012 Classes

Running 101

A class designed to take a non-runner from the couch to running a 5K comfortably in 11 weeks.  If you have always wanted to run, but aren’t sure where to start, are a former runner who would like to begin again, tried to start running on your own only to be sidelined by an injury or lack of motivation, or want to lose weight, Running 101 could be your answer!  Meeting as a group once a week, you will meet people with similar goals and do one workout together.  You will also receive a plan to follow on your own in between classes with coaching guidance. If you have tried to follow a plan on your own, but failed, this is the class for you.  The timing on of this class will allow you the opportunity to complete a fall 5K.
